Subject: To the Melwani's - My second family |
|
Dearest Aunty Shobha, Tara, Shabnam and Resham,
You have been my second family while I was growing up in Singapore. I always remember coming over and how Uncle Moti welcomed me into the house as if I was one of his own children. I will never forget him. He treated me as part of the family and always made me feel right at home. He was always in good spirits and I will never forget his cheeky smile and his great sense of humour. I will miss Uncle Moti dearly.
I am extremely honoured that you allowed me to participate along with the immediate family during the last rites. Again I felt that I was really part of the family. I am so grateful that you gave me an opportunity to repay, in a small way, the kindness, love and affection that that Uncle Moti had always shown towards me.
I pray that all of you find the strength to overcome this loss. I will always be there for all of you.
With all my love,
Raju |
