Subject: To Shobha - Moti is at peace |

Dearest Shobha,
Nothing in this world is going to take away the pain of losing a loved one, especially one like Moti. But, I guess life goes on for those left behind to carry on their legacy.
While I was there with you, some thoughts came by and I'd like to share them with you. It is said that when a selfless sacrifice (yagna) is completed the Devatas in heaven shower their blessings in the form of rain. The day Moti left it was thundering and lightning in the morning and the whole day was cloudy. It drizzled when he was leaving the home. The atmosphere while he was home was charged with serenity and peace .It also rained when the prayers ended at the bhog. This is a testimony to the fact that Moti was truly a selfless person whose presence on earth brought happiness to so many. .
The way he left you - all alone without anyone by his side - maybe he knew your attachment to him would be too strong to allow him to leave. Even there he went away selflessly without causing problems to anyone quietly and unobtrusively. He was truly a blessed soul.
I am sure that Moti's presence will always be felt as a guiding force to his 4 beautiful angels.
